Yes Virginia, There Is a Santa Fe

The Muley family is heading out tomorrow on the second leg of our World Vacation Tour 2006. This time, we'll be seeing some sights in New Mexico -- Santa Fe, Taos, Albuquerque -- with the Muley grandparents. The crew that all rode together in a van last summer for a week in Branson is back on the road! I'll try to post about our crazy adventures when I return in a week or so. Ya'll take care.

Oh my, people go to Branson on purpose? I lived just outside of town for about 4 years, flying a corporate jet that belonged to one of the local developers. Branson, God's little traffic jam on earth. I almost started buying my groceries from ebay to avoid driving to the grocery store it'd get so bad during tourist season. Beautiful country though, and some of the nicest people in the world. I remember when "Boxcar Willie" died and his widow sold a bunch of his old clothes and stuff at a garage sale. Someone bought a pair of his unworn cowboy boots and inside found several thousand dollars he'd squirrelled away. I imagine the purchaser needed every penny of that, yet they returned the money to Willie's widow. Says a lot about folks.

Hey Muley, are you ever coming back? I've been checking pretty frequently and it seems you were sucked into some sort of Santa Fe triangle. Que paso?

Muley, are you at least alive? Because I was checking your blog and imagined a car wreck in Santa Fe, and ever since then I've been wondering nervously . . .
